Your login status will be shown together with the
balance of your Betfair account.

Step 2
While you are learning about The Betometer, we suggest that you use 'TEST MODE'
Test Mode lets you practice with The Betometer but without risking any money.
How it works is that all functions work as they normally do, but any bets you make are not sent to Betfair. They are still listed as normal but they are not 'real' bets.
When Test Mode is 'On' the button will flash.
Under the funds button you can also
set up a ‘virtual bank’
Step 3
Load your Markets

Step 4
Step 5
A quick look at the buttons to get you started - remember to use 'TEST MODE' while you are learning.
Enter a stake. In the UK the minimum stake is currently £2.
The Betometer will place bets below the minimum but this is not encouraged by Betfair.

Step 6
To place a bet right click an odds button.
Blue is back bet, pink is a lay
bet

Once your bet is matched then you can do an easy two click trade as long as the back bet odds are larger than then lay bet odds, even if its only a small difference.
First we place a back bet at 2.92 for £20

Step 7
Now we do an easy one click trade by right clicking the hedge button to make
a small but guaranteed profit. It doesn't matter if you backed or layed first, The
Betometer will place the correct second bet for you. Note that the difference between
the back odds and the lay odds determines the size of profit.
